The main event this week was the first meeting of the new Advisory Group for the Pre-Incubator. This group must be seen as work in progress but currently consists of

Meurig Brooks – RCT CBC

Darren Jones – Communities First Spokesperson

Alun Taylor – Coalfields Regeneration Trust

Jill Owen – Manpower (New Deal)

Pam Voisey – Gti Incubator

Charles Middleton – Fairwood Trust

Andrew Freeguard – RCT Homes

Alun was not able to attend while Jeff Jones (WAG (DE&T)) is awaiting the results of re-organisation at the department before committing to the group. The meeting went extremely well and we have arrange to meet on a monthly basis over the next 6 mths to ensure the project is driven forward.

Did a presentation of the TABS social enterprise model to the second year of the Masters class at the University of Glamorgan on invitation from Penny Byrne. I really enjoyed it so thanks Penny

The New Deal contract is still going well with another staff member appointed and new learners starting.
